Alright Creeps, get out your water-colors and sharpen up those crayons because it's time for the first ever Creeps Logo Contest. That's right, we've got some very cool prizes to give away courtesy of our partner in horror Thomas Berdinski, director of The Italian Zombie Movie parts 1 and 2.
Italian Zombie Movie was featured in Fangoria's video chopping list recently and here is the best way for you to snag yourself a copy. Submit an original logo that you have created for consideration for our website and podcast, The Creepture Feature Horror Show.
Of course no contest is complete without some ground rules:
1. No Copyright Infringement - since we want to use this logo and hopefully slap it on some t-shirts and stickers we need to make sure that we don't infringe on any copyrights.
2. Once a logo is submitted to us it becomes property of The Creepture Feature Horror Show. Don't worry, if you don't win a prize we won't use the logo - and if we do use the logo of your creation we will give you full artistic credit but the logo is still free for us to use.
3. Contest Ends July 31st 2010 - the last day to submit your logo!
That's pretty much it! We want all you Creeps to have fun with this and be creative as we are planning to use this to represent us on the web and probably in iTunes as well. Your design can be lettering only or can include graphics as well as long as it's in accordance with Rule #1.
Submit your entries to horror654@yahoo.com

DEPRAVED by author Bryan Smith
O.K. all you Creeptures Of The Night we talk so much about movies but I want to change speeds and look at a book I purchased at Full Moon Tattoo Horror con in Nashville, Tn.. I met the author and I have to say he was such a great guy and he hooked me up with this book and I have to say after reading this book DEPRAVED I am so glad. I only read horror related books and this is one of my favorite reads of all times. It is a total page burner, by that I mean I had know problem reading hours at a time. Here is the description from the back of the book...
"Visitors are more than welcome in the isolated rural community of Hopkins Bend. The town needs them for their annual sacrifices... and entertainment. Now outsiders have stumbled into the town's traps. Some will be held for their captor's perverse, degrading amusement, but some will face a far more gruesome end at the yearly Holiday feast. The townspeople hope their unholy ritual will protect them from the curse that befell the Kincher family. For more than a century the Kinchers have been changing, mutating, becoming gradually less human. And at the center of it all lies the dark secret, the malignant evil that controls Hopkins Bend and has mad its residents truly... DEPRAVED".
During this book you will follow five different lives, Jessica, Hokey, Pete, Michelle and Megan. All facing different challenges. Bryan Smith explains in details so many things that it is easy to visually find yourself caring about these characters. This book could easily be made into a great movie. I want to recommend this book to everyone. I rate this book 100 Vinny heads. GREAT BOOK. GregaMortis

Alright Creeps, we've got a jam-packed double podcast for you this week! We are proud to share our interview with one of my favorite directors Jeff Burr and what a fantastic interview it is. In fact, the interview ran so long we've had to split it into TWO PARTS. This is the first part of the interview so make sure to download the second part as well. You can access the second part by clicking the pic below or go HERE.
We were able to cover a large portion of Jeff's career on this episode but not entirely so hopefully we'll have him back soon. In case any of you Creeptures out there aren't familiar with Jeff check his filmography on the Internet Movie Database and you'll see his credits include Straight into Darkness, The Offspring, Stepfather 2, Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, Pumpkinhead 2, Night of the Scarecrow, and so many more.Click the pic below for the link.

This interview was truly a dream come true for myself and I cannot thank Jeff Burr enough for his time and willingness to chat with us.
Also on this double episode we're getting to treat our listeners to an awesome band that you really need to check out. They're called Sex Slaves and they're a trio out of NYC. Gregamortis found these guys and is in the process of lining up an interview soon. In the meantime, I want all the Creeptures to check out their website just click on their pic below for the link or go HERE.
We're featuring Sex Slaves music on both parts of this podcast so check both out! I can't wait to get these guys on the show because I want to get them down here to the Dirty South for a series of shows. Which also reminds me you need to check their site for tour info as they are on the road as we speak completely destroying clubs and laying waste to everything in their path!
